The 20 horses at Calan Horse Sanctuary receive the highest standard of care, with each horse in the que to have hooves meticulously tended to and trimmed, dental work scheduled according their individual needs and issues and dietary requirements by age and condition looked after. We tend to every horse, heart, body and mind which as you can imagine with 20 of them, means we don’t have much down time. Alan’s funding and some donations enable us to keep the standards high and the horses happy.
